UPCOMING! old crow medicine show + daniel romano

UPCOMING! Old Crow Medicine Show + Daniel Romano at Corona Theatre  |  Wednesday August 21st

OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW  |  HELLO DARLIN' PRODUCTIONS

Wow! If you're into American roots, bluegrass, country, folk, trees, farms, string instruments, vests and steel toe boots, then Old Crow Medicine Show with Daniel Romano is concert you've been waiting for.

Wait no longer!

The musicians of Old Crow Medecine Show have their feet in the mud. They are a fun group of excellent players and carry a well balanced set list of Country traditionals and original material.

Out of the group's present seven-performer lineup, if you pick a name out of the hat, Chance McCoy lands in your hand. He's a guitar pickin', banjo danglin', fiddler with the voice of a angel. Old Crow performed at the Ottawa Blues Festival a couple of years ago and at least one guy was fixated on Countertenor McCoy's harmonious chanting throughout the entire duration of the bands performance.

Dude's got a pretty voice.

Since the momentous day in which the band was discovered in by Doc Watson busking in front of a pharmacy in Boone, North Carolina, Old Crow Medicine Show has succesfully grown fifteen years older, sold eight-hundred thousand albums, and become a household name in the home of North American roots music.

They're also to blame for this ten-years-old song (which you know you love):

Alright, now let's hear something new-ish by OCMS.

Caroline - Wagon Wheel

Now for the new face on the block. Following a Summer tour of the festival circuit, Daniel Romano has got his biggest gig yet touring on a four-stop tour with Old Crow Medicine show. This old fashioned cowboy is a must-see for fans of the country genre. He has already passed through Montreal this year as an opening act for Whitehorse at La Sala Rossa and we told you why you should have been there.

Once again folks, here is your chance to catch him live in the flesh:
